OGAM multi-rip saw

This used OGAM multi-rip saw is intended for continuous ripping of cants, edgings and boards from rough timber into calibrated boards in a single pass. Several saw blades with a diameter of 350 mm are mounted on the saw arbor, and the maximum workpiece thickness is 110 mm. The arbor is freely accessible for changing the spacers when switching to another cutting size. Feed is by a 300 mm wide crawler chain with adjustable speed, and the upper pressure rollers are height-adjustable. Multi-row anti-kickback fingers are fitted at the infeed. The machine has integrated extraction hoods and a cast-iron frame; the motor is rated 18 kW and the machine weighs 1750 kg. This machine is fitted with a control panel on the saw head, an electrical cabinet with a switch and an ammeter, an infeed guide fence, handwheels and a power cable with a plug.
