F.A.Q.

Frequently asked questions

Answers to common questions about our machinery, delivery and terms.

Does the reverse charge VAT mechanism apply?

Yes, for companies registered for VAT in another EU country and validated in VIES, where the conditions for an intra-Community supply are met. The VAT is then accounted for by the buyer in its own country. Companies registered in Bulgaria, and buyers without a valid VAT number, are invoiced with Bulgarian VAT.

What types of machinery and brands do you supply?

PROMACH supplies new and used wood processing machinery. HELEX is the PROMACH machinery brand, covering panel and solid wood processing equipment. Alongside HELEX, PROMACH supplies machinery from established European manufacturers, depending on the application and current availability.

Do you deliver outside Bulgaria and Romania?

Yes. PROMACH delivers wherever the customer is located, within and outside the European Union. Deliveries within the EU are usually the most straightforward: companies registered for VAT in another EU country may be invoiced excluding VAT, so the amount is not tied up during the purchase.

PROMACH can organise transport on request. Transport costs are borne by the customer and are confirmed before the arrangement is made. If the first quotation does not suit, PROMACH will look for alternatives until the price and conditions are acceptable.

Do you provide installation and commissioning?

Yes. Installation, commissioning and production tests are carried out by PROMACH, the manufacturer or a qualified technical partner, depending on the equipment and project location.

Whether installation is included in the machine price depends on the machine. For some equipment it is part of the supply. For others, a technician from the manufacturer is required on site, and the travel and accommodation costs are borne by the customer. The applicable arrangement is stated in the quotation for each machine.

What warranty applies to new and used machinery?

New machinery is covered by the manufacturer's warranty. The duration and conditions differ between manufacturers and are stated in the quotation and in the accompanying documentation.

Used machinery is sold in the condition described in the quotation. Where the machine is operational, a functional test can be arranged before dispatch.

Can I inspect a used machine before purchase?

Yes. Used machinery can be inspected at the location where it is installed. Where the machine is operational, a functional test can be arranged. Inspection visits are arranged in advance, after the machine and the visit conditions are confirmed by PROMACH.

What payment terms do you offer?

PROMACH works with an advance payment on order confirmation, with the balance due before the machine leaves the warehouse or the manufacturer's premises. The percentages are stated in the quotation.

Payment is made by bank transfer. Any different arrangement is agreed in writing before the order is confirmed.

Machinery can also be financed through leasing. The leasing contract is concluded between the customer and a leasing company or bank; PROMACH is not a party to it and does not provide financing directly. PROMACH assists with the documentation required by the financing institution and can put the customer in contact with partner banks.

Can you help me choose the machine if I am not sure what I need?

Yes. This is how most projects start. Tell us what you produce, the materials, the required output and how your current process works. PROMACH reviews the requirement before recommending a machine or a configuration. There is no obligation at this stage.

Not sure which machine fits?

Tell us what you produce. We will help you find the right configuration.
