Weinig four side moulder

This used Weinig four side moulder planes and profiles solid wood on all four sides in a single pass, combining planing, straightening and profiling. It is built on a cast iron frame. It has 6 spindles: 1 bottom horizontal (5.5 kW), 2 right vertical and 3 left vertical (11 kW together), 4 top horizontal (7.5 kW), 5 top horizontal (5.5 kW) and 6 bottom horizontal (11 kW). The spindles have a diameter of Ø 40 mm and run at 8000 rpm. The working width is 230 mm and the working height 170 mm. The feed runs at 6–24 m/min, driven by a 4.0 kW motor via cardan shafts, with pneumatic pressure: 6 driven toothed top infeed rollers (one of them double), driven rubber-coated double outfeed rollers at the top and bottom, and a side pressure guide. The infeed table is 1700 mm long. The thickness and spindles 4 and 5 are adjusted by motor, and the body is raised by a 0.55 kW motor. The table has central lubrication and the machine has 6 extraction connections of Ø 140 mm. The total installed power is 50 kW; the overall dimensions are 4900 x 2400 x 2000 mm and the weight is 3500 kg. Condition: used machine in good working order.
