Extraction & Handling

Dust extraction integrated into the production flow. Briquetting and material transport on request.

Machine type

Dust extraction is part of the production flow. An undersized system leaves dust on the panels, shortens tool life and creates a health and fire risk in the workshop.

PROMACH supplies extraction units, filters, ducting and briquetting equipment, new and used. The system is sized from the machines it serves: the air volume each machine requires, the length and shape of the ducting, and how many machines run at the same time.

A machine added later changes the calculation, which is why the system is designed around the whole workshop rather than one machine. PROMACH reviews the existing machines and the layout of the hall, calculates the required capacity and proposes the configuration. Material transport and briquetting are added where they make sense.

Installation, commissioning and after-sales support are part of the project.

Frequently asked questions

How do I calculate the extraction capacity I need?

You add the air volume of the machines that run at the same time, then account for the length and the bends of the ducting. Machines that only run occasionally are counted with a usage factor. We do the calculation from your machine list and the layout of the hall.

Filter unit inside the hall or outside?

Outside keeps the noise and the dust out of the workshop and frees floor space, but the warm air leaves the building unless the air is returned. Inside keeps the heat but requires space, noise control and the fire measures of the hall.

Is a briquetting press worth it?

It is worth it when you produce enough chips to fill the silo often, and when the briquettes are used for heating or sold. Below that, the transport and storage of loose chips is cheaper. We check it against your actual chip volume before proposing one.
