Bäuerle thicknesser

This used Bäuerle thicknesser is intended for thicknessing solid wood. The machine body is made of cast iron. The maximum planing width is 630 mm, the maximum workpiece thickness is 220 mm and the maximum depth of cut is 8 mm. The cutterblock has 4 knives and runs at 5500 rpm; the motor is rated 5.5 kW, with a three-phase supply. The feed has 4 speeds: 7, 9, 14 and 18 m/min. The thicknessing table is carried on 2 lifting spindles and has adjustable table rollers. The machine weighs 1000 kg. This machine is fitted with a control panel with start and stop buttons, an emergency stop button, a thickness scale, a lever for the feed speeds, a handwheel, an extraction hood and a front inspection cover.
