TOS Svitavy double-sided planer

This used TOS Svitavy double-sided planer is intended for woodworking workshops. It planes the top and bottom faces of the workpiece simultaneously, in a single pass. The maximum planing width is 810 mm and the maximum workpiece thickness is 200 mm. The machine has two cutterblocks, top and bottom, each with 4 knives; the bottom cutterblock is driven by a 10 kW motor and the top one by a 7.5 kW motor. The sectional toothed infeed roller allows several workpieces of different thicknesses to be fed at the same time; the bottom table has 3 rollers, with 2 rows of pressure elements above. The table height is adjusted electrically. Anti-kickback fingers are fitted in the infeed area. The dust extraction connection is Ø 200 mm and the machine weighs 2800 kg. This machine is fitted with a control panel with separate start buttons for the two cutterblocks, a total stop button and a main switch, an extraction hood on top, an extraction connection underneath, a thickness scale and a crank handle.
