Homag automatic edge banding machine

This used Homag automatic edge banding machine applies edgebanding to panels in woodworking workshops. It processes panels up to 60 mm thick with edgebanding 0.4–3 mm thick; the minimum panel length is 160 mm. It can also process panels that are already drilled, for example with hinge holes. The panel passes through pre-milling and preheating, then the edgebanding is applied with a glue roller; the machine has a 2 kg glue pot and a second glue pot for changing the glue colour or type. The edgebanding is pre-cut by a pneumatic guillotine and pressed on by pressure rollers. Finishing is done by end trimming saws, a multi-profile top and bottom trimming unit, a corner rounding unit, a multi-profile scraper, a flat scraper, spraying units and a buffing unit; the edge radii are R1 and R2. The feed speed is 8–14 m/min, and 11 m/min with corner rounding. The NC control adjusts the units automatically from the main control panel, which has a touch screen. The overall dimensions are 5200 x 1300 x 2100 mm and the machine weighs 1850 kg. Condition: used machine in good working order.
